Ennis School Completion Programme (Ennis SCP) works in the 2 post –
primary schools in the towns of Ennis and Ennistymon, and also in 5
primary schools in the Ennis area. The Ennis SCP Management Committee
invites applications for the position of Part Time Temporary Project
Worker. This is a fixed term/purpose contract of **Apply on the
website** hours per week based in the Ennis/Ennistymon area,
commencing on a date to be confirmed at the conclusion of the
selection process and ending on the 4th of July **Apply on the
website**. The Ennis SCP Management Committee may consider an
extension to this contract duration depending on circumstances.
A panel may be formed from which any vacancies which arise may be
filled. This panel will remain in place for 6 months from the
interview date.
The primary objective of this SCP position is to engage with a target
group of children and young people who have been identified as being
at risk of early school leaving and to enable them to acquire learning
and group work skills which will allow them to productively
participate in their education and there by maximise their potential.
